Scope of the Poster Session

The area of focus of the poster sessions include, but are not limited to:

  • cooperative control
  • consensus, rendezvous, and flocking
  • synchronization
  • networked control systems
  • teleoperation
  • modeling, analysis, and control of communication networks
  • sensor networks

Submission Guidelines

Contributers are requested to submit extended abstracts of 1-2 pages, written in English. The submission deadlines are given here. No full papers are required.

We ask you to prepare your abstract using the LaTeX template available for download below:

Acceptable file formats are PDF-files only, where all used fonts must be embedded to guarantee a correct appearance of the content. Do not include page numbers or headers.

All accepted abstracts will be included in the book of abstracts, provided that the final extended abstract is submitted in due time and at least one author has registered for NE{S|T}COC 2009 by the final submission deadline.

Copyright to submission stays with the authors.

Instructions for Poster Presentations

The format of the poster should be portrait A0 (841x1189 mm). Material for attaching the poster to the display board will be provided on the conference site. Every poster should include a section where the title and authors are shown. The title should be similar to or the same as the title you submitted. For the poster content, we recommend to use a font size that will allow several people to view your poster simultaneously.

In addition to the poster exposition which will take place during the whole event, the authors are asked to prepare a short presentation of their contribution. In a special session on the second day, the authors are asked to present their contributions in an oral presentation of max. one and a half minute. In order to keep to the timetable, please make sure you stick to the 1 minute 30 seconds limitation (corresponding to max. 3 slides including title). A Windows® computer equipped with Adobe® Reader® and Microsoft® Office will be available. Please prepare your presentation in a suitable format.
