in sensor-actuator-networks

Prof. Uwe Hanebeck
Institut für Technische Informatik
Universität Karlsruhe

    Zeit: Dienstag · 4. 7. 2006 · 16:00 Uhr
    Ort: Seminarraum 3.241 · Pfaffenwaldring 9 · Campus Stuttgart-Vaihingen

Abstract

The first part of the talk is concerned with the new Research Training Group GRK 1194 "Self-organizing Sensor-Actuator Networks" financed by the German Research Foundation (DFG) at the Faculty of Informatics and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Universtät Karlsruhe (TH).

In the second part, details are given on the model-based reconstruction of spatially distributed physical phenomena by means of sensor-actuator-networks. The corresponding challenges especially resulting from decentralized information processing are discussed on the basis of a practical example.
