My research interests are the identification of parameters in biochemical interaction networks, the design of biological experiments and visualization of (statistical) data. The theoretical step of experiment planing (or design) involves the analysis of expected information content of some proposed experiment (and its data). This is a step similar to the estimation of unknown parameters but is performed with artificial data, for all possible parametersets. The third topic is about producing graphs, which allow visual interpretation of high dimensional datasets. The graphs can represent bifurcations, probability distributions or confidence manifolds.
