DESCRIPTION:Prof. Natalia Dmitruk\nOptimal Control Methods Department\n Belarusian State University, Belarus  \nTuesday 2015-11-24 16:00\n IST-Seminar-Room V2.268 - Pfaffenwaldring 9 - Campus Stuttgart-Vaihingen  \nAbstract\nIn this presentation we consider optimal control problems for a team of linear continuous time\nsystems with coupled dynamics and/or constraints and subject to unknown bounded disturbances. It is\nassumed that centralized control of the team is impossible and the goal is to construct suboptimal\ndistributed control strategy when each system plans only for its own control input subject to some\ndelayed information communicated between the systems. The distributed control scheme proposed\nbreaks the large scale optimal control problem into smaller local sub-problems which recursive\nfeasibility is guaranteed at each sampling time. Robust constraint satisfaction and performance\nimprovement for the overall system under distributed inputs are shown. We also discuss how to\ncombine the above algorithm with asymptotic methods for solving regularly perturbed optimal control\nproblems to simplify the local optimal control problems for systems with weak dynamical\ninterconnections, and how to utilize distributed set-membership estimation for measurement feedback\ncontrol.  \nBiographical Information\nNatalia Dmitruk graduated in Applied Mathematics from the Belarusian State University in Minsk\nin 1997 and received her Ph.D. degree in Mathematics at the Institute of Mathematics of the\nNational Academy of Sciences of Belarus in 1999. Since 1997 she has held the research position at\nthe Institute of Mathematics. In 2004 she was with Institute of Calculus Application, Bari under\nCNR-NATO Fellowship. In 2006 and 2007 she visited IST with the research grants from DAAD. In 2013\nshe joined the Belarusian State University where she holds a position of Assistant Professor at the\nOptimal Control Methods Department.
