SUMMARY:Vortrag von Prof. Abdol-Reza Mansouri
DESCRIPTION:Prof. Abdol-Reza Mansouri\nDepartment of Mathematics and Statistics\nQueen's University, Ontario, Canada \nTuesday 2019-06-11 16:00\nIST-Seminar-Room 2.255 - Pfaffenwaldring 9 - Campus Stuttgart-Vaihingen \nAbstract\nThe Nash-Moser theorem is an implicit function theorem in Fréchet spaces, suited for situations\nwhere "loss of derivatives" prevents the application of the standard (Banach-space) implicit\nfunction theorem. Some control on this loss of derivatives is assumed through so-called tame\nestimates. After reviewing recent work on the Nash-Moser theorem, we will consider the situation\nwhere tame estimates are satisfied only modulo a regularizing operator, and show how the Nash\nMoser theorem can be extended to this setting. (Joint work with Helena Biščević, University of\nSarajevo).\n \n \n \n \n \nBiographical Information \nTba\n \n \n \n\n
