Abstract
I introduce a new technique for directly designing control algorithms starting from input-output data collected in a "one-shot" experiment performed on the system to control and without requiring any identification step. I show that such design reduces to the solution of data-dependent semi-definite programs, which can be very efficiently solved.
Biographical Information
Claudio De Persis is a professor of Automatic Control with the Engineering and Technology Institute and the J.C. Willems Center for Systems and Control, University of Groningen, the Netherlands.
