How to reach the University of Stuttgart
by train
Long-distance trains arrive at “Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof”, the main train station of Stuttgart.
Switch to the S-Bahn (subway) lines
- S1: heading towards Böblingen/Herrenberg
- S2: heading towards Vaihingen/Flughafen/Filderstadt
- S3: heading towards Vaihingen/Flughafen
and get off at the 4th stop, which is Universität.

Take Autobahn A8, A81 to Autobahnkreuz (junction) Stuttgart-Vaihingen. Follow the signs to the city center and exit at Universität.

From the airport, take S-Bahn (subway) lines
