Abstract
The Nash-Moser theorem is an implicit function theorem in Fréchet spaces, suited for situations where "loss of derivatives" prevents the application of the standard (Banach-space) implicit function theorem. Some control on this loss of derivatives is assumed through so-called tame estimates. After reviewing recent work on the Nash-Moser theorem, we will consider the situation where tame estimates are satisfied only modulo a regularizing operator, and show how the Nash Moser theorem can be extended to this setting.
