Researchers from the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems, and Software Program (WASP), Sweden’s largest individual research initiative, recently visited the University of Stuttgart for a collaborative event. The delegation, consisting of three professors and around 40 PhD students, explored the university’s latest innovations in robotics, autonomous systems, and AI.

As part of their visit, the group was introduced to our autonomous e-scooter project, a key initiative within the Mobility Living Lab. David Meister showcased the recent progress made in safe and sustainable autonomous navigation, as well as the long-term vision of the project, demonstrating how smart control technology and robotics can revolutionize urban mobility. The WASP delegation showed great interest in the technology and engaged in insightful discussions.
