The team of the autonomous e-scooter, following their successful participation at i-Mobility 2023, was once again present at this year's i-Mobility exhibition at Messe Stuttgart from April 4th to 7th. The exhibition showcases sustainable mobility solutions and innovative technologies in the transportation sector. The e-scooter, developed at the Institute for Systems Theory and Automatic Control, is a part of the MobiLab initiative at the University of Stuttgart.
During the opening tour led by the Minister of Transport of Baden-Württemberg Winfried Hermann, David Meister, Felix Brändle, and Robin Strässer showcased a current prototype and the latest features of the developed autonomous e-scooter, particularly highlighting new sensor technology that makes the e-scooter smart and how the booking of an autonomous e-scooter could look in an app.
We had engaging and insightful conversations and are pleased with the stimulating discussions and interest in our project. We thank our student team members Julian Häberli-Ziefle, Jan Kautz, Philipp Müller-Bardorff, Moritz Rieger, and Marvin de Vries for their support during the event.
